F One-Ders Wins the F1 KL Golf Challenge again in 2012

On Thursday 22nd March around 25 F1-ders flew all the way to KL for the annual F1 KL Golf Challenge.

Friday 23rd March, warm-up game was organised at Glenmarie Golf & CC with 20 golfers in 5 flites.

On Saturday 24th March, the F1 KL Golf Challenge (Brunei vs Malaysia) was held at the Tasik Puteri Golf & CC. (total of 43 golfers in 11 flites i.e. 22 F1-ders Brunei, 21 Malaysia golf frens)

The Challenge was won by F1-der's Brunei with a total of 365 pts versus 359 pts for Malaysia golf frens.

Welcome back

Fellow Golfers,

Its been a while we have not gone golf as a group. Since our last outing ( KL?), I have not been able to arrange any group game for the F One-ders. However a few of us made the Thailand Tour in conjunction with the Liverpool Game in Bangkok last July 2009.

Over the last 2-3 months, we welcome back our 2 golfers from their overseas assignment, namely A Rahman from KL and MJ from Oman. To welcome them them back, we had briefly arranged a mini tour in Panaga together with our guests from Bintulu on Saturday 7th November 2009. It was such and exhausting 18 holes under the scorching sun and it felt like we were bb'qued.

F OneDer KL Tour 2009

Saturday 4th April 2009, Nilai Spring Golf Resort, Negeri Sembilan

The annual golf frenly between F OneDer Brunei and our Malaysian Frens was played on this nic day starting early in the morning. 12 flites were tee-off at the front nine and back nine respectively.

After and exhaustive 5 hours on the course, the game was completed and scores tallied. The top 6 players from each team were awarded prizes for their acheivement. The top 10 scores from each team counted for the total and it was a draw. Hence the challenge trophy this year 2009 was shared.
